HWH is acting as Project Management Consultants for AMAR assisting in the delivery of a number of social improvement projects for the Majnoon oilfield in Southern Iraq:

Al Nashwa Girls School
HWH are project managing the procurement and construction of an 18 classroom Ministry of Eduction designed school for girls in Al Naswha area.

Reverse Osmosis Units for Schools
HWH are project managing the procurement and installation of water treatment reverse osmosis units at 23 schools in the Al Nashwa area. The reverse osmosis units will provide potable water to the school, increasing the water quality for improved heath.

Baiji Water Treatment Plant Water treatment plant
HWH undertook the feasibility study for the refurbishment of Baiji Water Treatment Plant in Al Nashua. A water treatment, compact unit was put in place in 2008, with a design capacity of 200m3 per hour (serving approximately 13,000 people), currently the plant is not working effectively, providing less water than required and to a much lesser standard. HWH’s commission includes the implementation of recommendations from the feasibility for procurement and construction management of works to refurbish the treatment plant.
